Is it possible to integrate IMAP synchronization? I know it won’t work without a bridge or something, but this would be a useful PRO feature.

IMAP synchronization sounds like a feature implemented in email client apps, not on the server.
ETHMail supports IMAP so you should be able to enable synchronization on your client app. Here is a guide on setting IMAP access: How To … | ETHMail
